LAST SUMMER AT BLUEFISH COVE
evolves around a woman spending her last
summer with her family of friends, at
the same time having unexpectedly fallen
in love. Chambers wrote LAST SUMMER
AT BLUEFISH COVE in 1980 for The
Glines First Gay American Arts Festival,
audiences and critical raves soon moved
this ground breaking play to
Off-Broadway. The choice of play and
playwright has significant meaning as
Provincetown Cares inaugural performance
because of Jane Chambers personal
story. On February 18, 1983 she died of
a brain tumor.

Bluefish Cove hosted by the
Art House this exclusive private
venue is located in the center of town
on the harbor side of the street. This
indoor & outdoor space has a large deck
and a back yard leading directly on to
Provincetown Harbor. The tickets
includes music, refreshments and food
provided by
Victors. Provincetown Cares will
also be auctioning off signed 24"x40"
posters of the performance, stage props
and other items to benefit Women's
Health Care Services and Awareness,
Auctioneer
Maggie Cassella.
